Fines for taking kids on vacation?

Apparently here in the UK I could get fined £60/day for taking my kid out of school to go on vacation? I don’t think this was a thing back in the US. Lol. I’ll do it anyway but that will get expensive fast 💀

Yes...you have to ask the head for permission and if refused you will be fined if you go ahead.
As you will be for not asking...
