I like that built-in lock on your suitcase. You’ll never lose your lock that way. TSA has removed my security locks on my suitcases a couple of times and never replaced them.

@cherokeepatti i think their last worry is about how well they treat our suitcases lol

@BittersweetPotato I wondered what they did with my locks…they pocketed some cash from my carry on bag one time and I didn’t discover it missing till I got to where I was going. Few months later at that same airport they made an arrest of a TSA agent who had stolen money from passengers. I should have checked and reported it when it happened and maybe his greedy butt would have saved other passengers some of their money. Anyway after that I put my cash in a Bible and then in a Bible case that had a zipper and I put a small non-TSA lock on it. I figured if they wanted to look inside they’d ask me to remove the lock and if they saw the money they’d know why I locked it from them and leave it alone.

@cherokeepatti I can't believe they'd steal the cash! Crazy!

@BittersweetPotato they know we are preoccupied with our trip, hassling with standing in long lines and pulling off our shoes, belts, etc and putting all of that in a big tray and rushing through the inspection. I remember that man spent too much time “checking my carry-on” and he didn’t want me watching too closely. I think that should have been a good clue but I felt hassled in the airport by rushing around, and it was overheated in there too. Was wanting to go buy some bottled water and find a place to sit down and drink it.

@cherokeepatti To me, it would not have been a clue! I would never imagine the TSA stealing my stuff.. maybe i am naive just like that O.o

@BittersweetPotato I was naive about them until then. I am sure they have cameras on them and the passengers in every part of these airports. They are just another version of a pick-pocket the way they pilfer through baggage and find a way to stick it in their pocket, probably use the other hand to distract like a magician.
