what’s your least fav and best country you have ever traveled to so far ?

Least favorite would be Sweden. The people were extremely friendly and polite and the country has a very interesting Viking history but overall id say it’s my least favorite out of the places I have visited so far.
(I’m not talking about living standards but merely tourism moreover , I stayed there briefly and didn’t travel around much so my opinion might be a little biased )

My top favorite would be Spain ♥️

What about you?
Fairydust · F
Australia is my favourite, love the beaches and way of life.. plus I have family there…

Malta, just wasn’t that keen on it, some bits are beautiful but I don’t think I’d return. Could have just been where I was staying.
Moon3624 · 18-21, F
@Fairydust are you married to an Australian or some family moved there ?

I believe Australia is beautiful and unique
I also grew up watching bondi rescue and it was rlly interesting 😂
Fairydust · F
@Moon3624 my brother and his wife, children live there in Perth. I love it 🥰 always go down south to Margaret river or further down when I visit. Just beautiful.

They're prepping to launch intercontinental baguettes at you as we speak 🥖

@Elessar Boring. We make those here too. I'd rather have your focaccia instead 🤤

Torsten · 36-40, M
@Darksideinthenight2 Norway does I am sure but that does not change my answer from it being the best. USA in general is not so bad. Its the people in it that devalue it to me
nedkelly · 61-69, M
Been to most of the South Pacific and parts of the USA and have enjoyed my time, always enjoyed my travels
Sharky86 · 36-40, M
Idk I liked most of the places I've visited.

Egypt is so great, I also loved France (and many single places there), Cuba has great nature, not talking of Zambia (such wow animals and landscapes), I liked a lot Ireland and my beloved London etc etc etc.

Recently I went to Romania and tbh I was expecting something better, also I'm not a big fan of Spain and Belgium so far.
Moon3624 · 18-21, F
@Sharky86 a lot of travel I see!
Awesome!
Any future trip plans ?
I have been to uk too
I pretty much loved it just as much as Spain
Sharky86 · 36-40, M
@Moon3624 Idk I would like to visit maaany places, I would love to go back to central Africa cause nature there is really amazing.

I like all countries that I travel to otherwise I wouldn't be travelling to them lol. I wouldn't go somewhere I'm not interested in.

Spain is my favorite country because I lived there and really enjoyed it. I love the weather and the way people are over there...it feels like a second home to me.
Moon3624 · 18-21, F
@TryingtoLava shh you already traveled to the best place Chihiro !
@Moon3624 aweeee :) thats tru
SW-User
Spain is probably also my favorite. I studied abroad there for a few months in college.

Least favorite? Not sure I have a least favorite. I've found something to like in every country I've visited.
Moon3624 · 18-21, F
@SW-User that’s a great mindset
Freeranger · M
Worst: Taiwan/Okinawa....take yer pick

Best: Hmm.....tough one, Toss up between Australia and Hong Kong, pre-Chinese take over
Freeranger · M
@Moon3624 Yes, it's considered it's own entity or prefecture as they like to call it, but it's still part of Japan
Moon3624 · 18-21, F
@Freeranger I meant to say did you not like Japan in general or that specific region
Freeranger · M
@Moon3624 I can't comment on Japan as a whole as I was on Okie, and not the mainland. Okie was a blur.....I was there as part of a WesPac pump. We were off loading troops who were rotating in so, I was there for only 48 hrs. While there all I remember are unfriendly cab drivers doing 100 miles an hour charging twice the normal fare. That's the way it is when new troops arrive. Sort of a "market will bear thing." Streets lined with bars, unfriendly people (Okinawans want the U.S. out of their island), so....I was happy to oblige them with departure. 😏
Rhode57 · 56-60, M
Least favourite would be between uk and venice it would be close but probably venice . The rest of italy isnt bad but found venicians arrogant rude and venice smells really bad especially at high tide .
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@Rhode57 Hang on... that is a an entire country and just a single city in another country.

Hardly a fair comparison or contrast. It would be like me slagging off all of France where I have enjoyed many holidays; due to one isolated, rather unwelcoming attitude we met once in one small harbour-side restaurant in Calais. The impression my companion and I had was that the cafe was very much a locals' refuge from all the "booze-cruise" types.

I wonder though if the least welcoming places are the main tourist-traps (sometimes called "honey-pots"), where few of the locals actually benefit from the trade; and many are likely to feel crowded out of their own town and its attractions by the visitors. Or even worse, are out-competed for housing by the second-home and holiday-let trade, whilst themselves scraping a living working in the supermarkets, the ubiquitous American fast-food chains and the seasonal tourist trade itself.

I live near a seaside resort.... At least I was lucky, enjoying 40 years of low-skilled but proper, all-year employment meaning eventually buying my own, though relatively low-cost, home...
Wiseacre · F
I have traveled so much I find this hard to answer. There are so many beautiful places...Spain is good! I hated the Austrian people, but not the landscape..would not go back!
Moon3624 · 18-21, F

cycleman · 61-69, M
Cycling through the Alps! Being above the tree lines. The time going slowly up and up, greatly appreciate the exertion. Then to fly down the pass, spoiling!😊
cycleman · 61-69, M
@cycleman oh this my fav.

I don't have a bad place, well does a neighbors yard count? 😄
Most favorite is Austria. Their churches and alps are fucking gorgeous.

Least favorite is Mexico. I'd be trying to hop the border too if I lived there.
Wiseacre · F
Austria is beautiful, but the ppl aren’t!@BohemianBabe
hunkalove · 61-69, M
Least would be the U S and A. A horrible hateful violent place. And i've been all over it.

Fave would be Iceland. I spent a couple hours there in 1972. Beautiful!
meggie · F
Singapore is my worst. Boring hot humid place. Devon in the UK is my happy favorite place.
Moon3624 · 18-21, F

But I’d like to visit south Africa one day
If you could travel anywhere
Where would you go ?
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@Moon3624 Well, I'd like to move actually. Most freelance contracts I'm getting are US and Western Europe-based.
Plus South Africa isn't doing that great.

As for travel, I really want to go to Armenia.
empanadas · 31-35, M
No clue tbh. I liked them all in a certain way. Probably Brazil and Argentina but that's because I spent a month in each. So I got to see more of the country
