@devonman It looks as though the right-hand ~2/3 perhaps has been caught after a cleaning and before repainting the exposed timbers...?

@devonman I am assuming cleaning--rather than restoring, resurfacing, repainting--due to the streaks from water.
However, I'm guessing that the end in question was redone at some point and that explains the new windows and more sparse half-timbers; it seems likely that there were other cantilevered window seats and a matching density of half-timbers prior to whatever renovation occurred. ??
