2 months during the 2020 lockdown

Most of my country (that already drives like sh*t normally) forgot completely the basics of how to drive after that. It's been the wild west for a while.

A year. Not out of choice.
I feel like I need to teach myself all over again😬

The better part of two-plus years when I was in the Army. Stationed most of that time in Europe and didn't have a military driver's license, so no driving of Army vehicles. I did go on leave with a barracks mate who had a VW beetle, and part way across France he asked me to drive for a bit. Felt weird, particularly since I was not overly familiar with stick shift but at least it was in a remote rural part of Burgundy.

3 years I couldn't afford a car when I first passed.

Either on a work trip or when I had been in the hospital. But in both cases probably a week tops. But I live in a rural area where there is no mass transit so you must drive to get places.

I think over a year when I was married and didn’t have a car. It did feel strange driving again for a little while.

A year or so. I don’t know why I went so long, but now I’m pretty nervous about driving again 😬

That would be the 2 ½ years I was in the Peace Corps, although I rode a motorcycle for part of the time.

4 months when I ruptured my Achilles tendon on the right side and had to get it surgically repaired.

A couple of days, tops. I have to drive in order to get to anything I need.

I haven't owned a car or driven in 15 years. Can't imagine I ever will again.

Six months. I enjoyed it at the time but I would not now.

3.5 months : suspension of licence caused by speed excess

The past two years I've put less than 500 miles on my van.

A couple weeks maybe. Feels weird shaking the rust off

3 weeks. It was torture being taxied around.

12 weeks after shoulder surgery for me

about a month after knee surgery this summer.

About 39-years. That’s the age I started driving.

For several months when I was deployed

About 6 weeks.

2 days? Maybe

6 or 7 years now

3 months. Was in hospital for a month then wasn't allowed for while after because csection and shitty blood pressure.

No one you can go out with?

You are all set to drive big things, not a tiny car or truck. You are driving your life.
