@amethyst1 Oman is because she thinks it’s got a cool name… like ‘Oh man!’ lol and also because then she thinks we would have to have a layover in Dubai to go there and she likes their airport. Rwanda is apparently because she saw it on our map at home & she likes where it is 🤷♀️

@Raffiki Well I was attracted to Madagascar on a globe when I was young. Only found out many years later that it's got a whole unique load of wildlife so am quite fascinated by it. I did see Rwanda on a TV programme and it looked really green and hilly. Of course they have recovered (no. of people) from the genocide now.

@Raffiki Ex-CoWorkers from Vietnam, one from small rural village, one from Saigon.
Both speak highly of their country of course! 👍🏻
The younger guy (30's) says Saigon is good for Tourists if there's a Guide with you. Too many hustlers trying to make a Dollar doing anything including Scam or Rob you! Otherwise Modern enough.
Anthony Bourdain, the Adventuring TV Chef, did at least 2 shows from Vietnam.
His are always interesting beyond the foods!

BUT most of New England is the Same except for Historical Sites like D.C.
The South except for Florida and New Orleans might as well be just 1 state!
Tennessee, Kentucky, west Virginia, Virginia, etc. Just pick Nashville!
Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, south Dakota are essentially the same. I could drop you in any one of them and you'd never know the difference!
With the North Central States, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Missouri, Michigan, and whatever. There's nothing worth visiting, 🤷🏻♂️I guess!!
For Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, and Arizona just visit Las Vegas, Reno, Salt Lake City, and the Grand Canyon!
Oregon, Washington, Montana, Wyoming and Idaho might merit a visit.
California, just drive North from Mexico to San Francisco to Lake Tahoe then South through the Sierra Nevadas to the Yosemite, the Death Valley, the Sequoia,the Mojave, and the Joshua Tree National Parks!
That's all anyone Needs unless they're heavily into a Certain Criteria of Sightseeing, like Hometowns of the Famous!
