Moving out of state?
Has anyone ever moved out of state and if so what is your technique? I'm moving about 300 miles away from where I originally live with my 2 dogs and boyfriend so I'm trying to figure out on how to do it swimmingly. Thanks.

I moved 400 miles out of state last year, to Jacksonville FL from NC. I knew absolutely no one here at the time. I didn't have any pets or a GF, so my logistics were probably a bit simpler than yours.
I just made several trips any only moved what I needed. Discarded or gave away everything else. Bought a bit of new furniture here, because that was actually less expensive and with 0% financing for 5 years than hiring a moving company to move my old furniture.
