Whats your favorite city?

Traveling the US departing from the Northeast, I've been noticing how lucky I was to be so close to such old cities. NYC, Philly, Salem, etc are way more interesting architecturally and energetically. The modern cities are fun to visit too, but the feelings from walking along old cobbled streets and immersion into dark history gives me chills and I like it!

I'm found of the old mill towns, here in the North East, Keene New Hampshire is my preferred consumer destination. But Nashua, Manchester, and the Sea coast are nice metro getaways.

@checkoutanytime Beautiful. We just left up that way a few weeks ago. We loved all the native land! Gorgeous old towns and the mountains were windier than AZ.
@checkoutanytime old mill construction. Learned of it in the fire service. A “ surround and drown”’ operation!
@soar2newhighs the vacant mills are a fire disaster waiting to happen? No.🙂
@checkoutanytime They most certainly are.
@soar2newhighs truth you speak
@checkoutanytime I live in an old paper mill town. The mill shut down a few years ago, and the air no longer reeks of sulfur dioxide.
The mill property is now going to be used as a cannabis grow site.
@TheSentinel I think the previous was referring to something different then renovated mills.
@checkoutanytime yes, the heavy timber/brick mills.
