Reminiscing About Cambodia
I remember deciding to travel to Cambodia by land from Singapore with my friend at that time.It took us 2 to 3 days to get there.
The journey was an unforgettable one.When we reached Bangkok,we decided to rest there one night before taking a van to Siem Reap, Cambodia.
In the middle of the journey,the van broke down.We had to wait in the middle of nowhere for the van to be fixed.Then we were told they were not able go fix the van.So we hopped on a lorry instead!
Somehow,I was in this reclining Buddha position at the back of the lorry.Someone's water bottle spilled and it looked like I wet my pants.
I told my friend that it couldn't get any worse than this.Well,I was wrong!The lorry also had a breakdown and we had to wait another few hours again for another lorry to come.I made sure I sat at the front this time.
We were the only 2 Asians girls at that time among a group of white travellers from all over the world.I miss those times and the awesome friendships I made along the way!Up till now,me and my friend still have a good laugh when we talk about this incident.Oh the good old days...
