This evening I took my last bus trip in London! I would admit I have felt safer riding the buses with the Covid19 threat, than riding the tube - the London underground railway.
Using bus route/number 39, it's about thirteen kilometres and on a good day it takes about an hour!
On the tube you sit opposite each other, there is standing room in between if you can't get a seat! But on a bus, you don't have to worry so much of your skirts are short! I have preferred the bus, but I have taken the tube a few times too!
