There still is such a movie. They record them now.

@Mamapolo2016 who is "they"
Mamapolo2016 · F
@Elevatorpitches The people who record movies.

@Mamapolo2016 lol
on MY cable system, no one can record anything now because the greedy corporatemasters have contrived to RUIN all the movies (good and bad) with horrible ugly PROMOS running right over the ending credits and outro music...so rude, and no way anyone would want a personal copy that way
it was done deliberately to prevent people from recording stuff now. and its not piracy since we already PAID to have the cable in the first place
in the past I could do that and have a fantastic home collection now but its getting pretty old, all VHS tapes

@Elevatorpitches I was referring to the movie makers. I think the cable companies pay royalties for a certain number of showings.

@Mamapolo2016 all I know is cable SUX eyeballs now most movies are junk and the ones we want are ruined by what I described
I can decide what I like and order it from the library and record it that way and once I actually did that and half my home collection is from stuff patched that way
its still possible but as I age its less important to get something permanently in the house
I would rather get rid of half my stuff and pare down
ok ty for the update though
and Shelly Duvall in "Three Women" was the best of her work in my opinion
