How much is rent in New Jersey?

My best friend moved to New Jersey seven months ago. She said she REALLY wants me to come live up here and just because she moved doesn’t mean we can’t still be roommates. It will still happen. She said she’s planning to get her own place next year but the thing is, I can’t afford to move out and I want to finish school first. She said just transfer and I’m the ONLY person she trust and only me because the others screwed her over. I’m not even prepared or anything. I would have to get used to the cold and I really don’t wanna live there. It would be fun to be roommates but I don’t know what to think. Don’t think I’m gonna be able to have the money by next year! I need to help my dad with bills and stuff.

I guess it really depends. Look for low income apartments or houses. I wouldn’t know because I don’t live in that area but yeah. Don’t give up so quickly just look for low income apartments or houses. Be a lot better if you had a roommate and you split the rent. My cousin and I just moved in with each other last month and we split the rent it’s it’s just fine. Just remember to pay the bills and get furniture and all that kind of stuff. Save up a lot of money.
