when you travel alone are you afraid of being raped, robbed or even kidnapped?

why or why not?
how do you cope with it?
I'm fine, but i had that conversation with a friend today who was trying to tell me that i'm being reckless and he'd suggest that i'd better be more prepared for anything happening.

@Callmewhatyouwill it rarely crosses mine, i've slept in remote places, like a beach or a cave at some cases then it did for a moment. Also getting lost in an unknown city can provoke such thoughts, when you don't know where you're going. There are moments ... it never ever crosses your mind? that's great though :) wait, i'll get there..!
