Would it be possible for us to throw off the Earth's rotation if we drove really fast in the opposite direct of the Earth spinning?

it's possible but you'd have to be going very fast and the thrust has to keep going to push you up against gravity. I think that might make the day go by slower though, because your travelling against the rotation which means you are staying still more in the sunny side.
