How do I send a text message to Bahrain from Australia? Is it +973 followed by the person’s phone number?

@nedkelly that makes sense. So would I just have to do 001164 then the person’s number? Do I still have to add 973?

On most (but I think not all) cell networks I believe you only have to use the + symbol before the country code and phone number. 973 is the country code for Bahrain, so +973 xxxxxx.
