Female solo RV traveling anyone?

I have been dreaming of and researching RV/ Van traveling for the past year. Anyone out there with tips, good or bad? My friends think this is a phase I’m going through. Maybe, maybe not!

You only live once... the rewards outshine the dangers. I say go for it.

Living in a van traveling the country for a while sounds appealing and not just a phase.

The best thing I can think of is to visit an RV camp about mid spring and meet with some travelers, or have an interview with a KOA or Good Sam camp manager.

Stick to well travelled roads, stay at reputable RV parks, KOA, Good Sam etc. Listen to the little voice in your head. And enjoy!

@Mbingh01 Check with websites about bringing firearm to different states. Some don't care, some are liberal gestapo lands.

I've kicked the idea around myself..but I'm a homebody...if I were to do it, I'd probably look into renting instead of buying and RV.. i see too many RV's sitting in people's yards and driveways around the area... but it would be nice to leave the cold climate

@NativeOregonian I have a concealed weapon permit.

@Mbingh01 Some states do not recognize them from other ones, New Jersey doesn't recognize them at all.

@NativeOregonian Your RV is considered your home, and you’re within your rights to carry a firearm in your RV.
