Name a 3rd World Country

Senegal. I lived there for several years (I lived in a nice part of Dakar with other expats, but we traveled around the country). It's "third world" alright. That doesn't mean it's horrible and no one should go there. But it's impoverished and has problems you can't fathom if you've never been to a country like that.

And yeah "third world" is a dated Cold War term and not a real classification of nations, but Senegal is a nation that ranks "low" in the HDI (Human Development Index) and that's a good indicator of which nations are struggling and might be thought of as "third world".
