Why do people choose the window-seat on the plane if they keep the shade down the whole time?

They want a wall to lean on.

Seasoned travelers always opt for an aisle seat. Makes it easier to get up and walk around or go the toilet, and there's usually very little to see out the window most of the time anyway.

If someone picks a window seat, but then keeps the shade down, it means they just saw a clown on the outside
