Have you ever not thought about time or payed attention to it?

have you ever not thought about time or payed attention to it? I really enjoyed my trip to Vietnam because the last four days I was there I did not think about time at all, I went to the spa and took mud baths swam, read magazines, chatted with people, of course my Vietnamese is bad I know like six sentences, but still tried. I realized how relaxing it is not to think about what time is it what time I need to be somewhere and just not look at any clocks or watches, just think I will be here until they say it closes. and I only noticed this because the couple weeks I was there before the spa I was rushing around looking at the clock every few hours waiting for the bush and being board at bus stops.so I think its a good idea to have more trips like this.I was rushing because i was trying to go on a many tours. I don't want tours for a vacation I want to just relax and swim.

I'm glad you enjoyed your vacation. It's good to relax and just do nothing. Are you Australian?
@quitwhendone no I live in the USA. never been to Australia but I hope to go there someday too.
@Girlyfriendcollecting Well, Vietnam is an odd and out of the way vacation locale for Americans. What made you choose Vietnam?
@quitwhendone I like Asian cultures and most of my relatives are part Asian and European.
@Girlyfriendcollecting Ok, cool. Ever been to Thailand?
@Girlyfriendcollecting I feel like their beliefs fit mine more work hard, I dont drink or smoke. I liked that in Vietnam it was not custom to drink but quite a few people smoked even indoors in restaurants
@Girlyfriendcollecting yeah, I have heard Vietnamese people smoke a lot. Were you at a beach resort or in a big city like Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi?
@quitwhendone no and from what I hear its dirty there compared to most of the US. I didnt like Vietnam for that reason. people suggested islands like maldieves. its too expensive. so I have a choice of either too expensive or cheap but dirty or unsafe. I dont even know where to go for vacation. maybe Canada. cheap safe clean and not far.
@Girlyfriendcollecting Yeah, I like Canada cuz I don't like the heat. Nova Scotia is supposed to be nice as well as Vancouver. Cuba is becoming a popular vacation spot that's cheaper than most other vacation locales. And many of the other Carribean islands are nice and not expensive. I've been to Mexico for vacation and it's pretty cheap. The Yucatan is nice. Thailand is nice if you know where to go. Stay away from the big cities. Their beaches are beautiful.
