Do you use public transportation on a regular basis?

I want to but have been so scared to get on a train and go to surrounding cities. (Don't want to drive).

I was looking online and found that they offer a service that teaches people how to navigate riding trains and stuff.
I've only been on one once, years ago, with a friend, we almost ended up on the wrong train had it not been for a stranger helping us.

I wish they had a train while I was in school commuting 80 minutes a day, round trip.
