Russia is now make Kaliningrad open to EU

Is very important things happen in kaliningrad now with new evisa for all of EU country’s is not problem for citizen to come here and to pass through go to Baltic states and Poland.

Is good thing of course but maybe now is EU turn to make easier for Russian people in Kaliningrad, so many family in Lithuania and Latvia and make easier for travel to rest of Russia.

Also , perhaps worry thing is always about Russian sovereign in Kaliningrad, is maybe some people worry about now is time to break away from Russia, I don’t think will ever happen I don’t think peoples here are want this at all, always feel very close to rest of Russia but are cut off in Europe.

Is interesting to see what happen to this in time

Kaliningrad Oblast. Once the great East Prussian city of Konigsberg.
It has been a thorn in the side of Poland and Lithuania for years. Maybe the NATO countries will stop worrying about Russia invading Lithuania to get complete control of this vital port to the Baltic Sea and stop the problems there. Hope it works out.

@SW-User yes there is part of history here, is big German influence always in culture in Kaliningrad . But to say problem is with Russia is not so true , the problem of course is EU when Lietuva join EU is now impossible for Russian resident to travel by land to rest of Russian or Belarus or Ukraine. Is maybe now with Russia’s make it easy that EU will dot this same for Russian citizens to pass through as well
