Rural areas are also quite nice. Try something in Bavaria. [i]Schliersee[/i] might be a good idea, see picture.

are you going to see check point Charlie while in berlin? the berlin wall? brandenberg gate? many sites to see there.

@CanadianGentleman1976 lot of castles all over the country. one famous really big castle in the mountains. forgot what it was called. lots of spires on it. there is the rhine river too. many cities to tour. should get guide book and read up on everything there is to see in germany before you go there. 😺
