s'often misunderstood and misconstrued …

usually, people associate time-travel with staying in one exact place … and time goes either backward or forward … as follows:

going [c=#800000]backward[/c], you are standing in the same space … but a log-cabin was built (two months ago) less than twenty feet away from where you are presently standing. you walk through the cabin's doorway … pick up a newspaper and notice the date is 1827.

going [c=#800000]forward[/c], you are gazing at several columns of high-rise buildings … towering 18miles above our planet's surface … fossil-fuels have long been depleted … uranium-ore is being sifted from deposits 82,000 feet into the earth's crust. micro-nuclear reactors power the vehicles we ride in … tobacco has been replaced with blue-acid implants. oh, and humans can no longer reproduce naturally (sterility), as they no longer can manifest their own sperm … it's done in a lab.

what time-travel really is … keep in mind, our planet rotates on an axis and revolves around a star we call the sun … this group, in turn, rotates around what we call the milky-way galaxy. if a point could remain static in space and time … everything else would continue in motion. so … five seconds of time-travel could, theoretically, find you at the end of our galaxy … and totally off this planet we call earth.

so … where would i go? anywhere i can … and as often as i can … and i better bring along some air to breathe and liquid to drink … s'gonna be one helluva ride!
