Anybody excited for Tucson?

I am very excited myself, this will be my first time in Tucson. I saved up so much $$$ for this moment. I'm finally able to go and spend so much quality time with all the vendors that came this year to the Tucson Gem & Mineral Show. I'll be there for a few days, not for the full two weeks. Some point, I have to come home back to Florida. Anybody else excited? Who's going? Who's not but wish they were? What are some things you're looking forward to seeing or taking home? Let me know! I would like to hear all about it! 😇💙👍️
I have never seen anyone that excited about Tucson, my hubby is from there and from the pictures it didn't look anything like exciting to me

@moonthesolitary I've never been there but I only wanted to go to Tucson for this spectacular event which is solely for the Tucson Gem & Mineral Show! I'm quite excited <3 I always keep an open-mind but definitely, I'll take pictures and make a post about it. If you have Instagram or you can just check it out online. #tucsongemshow2018 < Lots of photos from different people who went last year and found some amazing pieces, ones that are to die for!
@JustSimplyMe I hope u find what you are looking for

what is this show ? is it more about geology or about jewelry ?
JustSimplyMe · 26-30, M
@EvilFairy It's an annual gem, mineral & fossil showcase where multiple vendors from all over the world come by and showcase and or sell their findings, gems, minerals of all sorts in different locations in Tucson, Arizona. Most of the shows are open to the public, except for the private shows for more serious buyers who are looking to collect rare or bigger gems, minerals and fossil to either add to their collection or to display at their own business. All kinds of vendors and people come by like geologists, crystal healers, crystal enthusiasts, miners, fossil scientists, jewelry manufacturers etc.

This particular event typically happens around late January or early February. This year, it will be held from February 2-17.

sounds like a happy mix of people
That would be fascinating - but not in the budget. Take photos and tell us all about it.

@Kayana

This is Larimar found in the Dominican Republic, beautiful stone! <3 These are the tumbled & polished ones which aren't as expensive as the raw & natural ones. Both are equally amazing in quality, depending on what you prefer. I always have to be aware though when I do go shopping that I know the difference because there are some Larimar being sold elsewhere by different vendors in which could just be glass painted like Larimar or anything close that stone being altered. Meaning fake Larimar but still visually appealing to the eye.
@JustSimplyMe what do ya do with them?
JustSimplyMe · 26-30, M
The physical aspect of Larimar is that it is a beautiful stone to use it as jewelry. You can have it professionally made into an earring, stud piece, and rings. If you're crafty like me, you could also make your own necklace and or bracelets with it. I personally, use it for healing purposes. Spiritually speaking. Larimar is a stone that represents peace, clarity, and radiating healing with love. It has medicinal purposes that may aid in helping with stress. Larimar itself is believed to help us view events from different perspectives, it softens and heals the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels of our manifestations. I would love to use Larimar in my practice as well, especially when it comes gridding and or chakra meditation.
I am excited about a Toucan - in fact I wish I had one. 🦜

@MarmeeMarch Funny :P
I'm going, but not for the show (although that would be cool). Unfortunately, the show is making it impossible to find an RV spot
Oh dear god I'd rather kill myself
