What’s the farthest you’ve ever been from home?

I'll start 7,418 miles from Midland Texas to Baghdad Iraq.

By the way this is a funny thing, we were talking about something like this with my friends last weekend.

A gurl was amazed cause a friend of mine traveled a lot around the world, for work so she was like "how many countries does he visited?" Not few, but not so much actually, almost my same number as I did, also he went there for work, not to visit them, for example he spent months in India in a factory in the jungle and he stayed there all the time.
Kind of boring.

The interesting part, to me, is more "How much km did he travel?"
A crazy number, we've been almost in the same number of countries but I mostly travel around Europe, while he went almost in every continent.
From Italy to South Africa and back, then again and back, then Italy to Russia etc :-P
