My grandfather did a bit of time at Offutt. He retired a One Star USAF.

@Spartan1 very nice, mine did too, although he was made a civilian at the outbrek of WW2, wast oo valuable to risk combat, he was an engineer

@mrmoose That's what grandpa was involved with. He got his start in B17s Army Air in Ww2. Then Korea he was Air Force. Vietnam he flew and commanded with the Iron Dukes based in Guam. Daily flights to Hanoi and points south. He worked with Looking Glass and the round the clock readiness. The history ...its amazing

@mrmoose What's really neat was my uncle Leo. He was OSS in the far East in ww2. Then went company. He was in Malta for the Reagan Gorbie meet
