What's the deal with Alabamians and Tenesseans?

Is this a thing in the USA? Or is this just some random SW user(s) fixation?

Personally,i don't take these sites too seriously as i've been using pc's before the Internet, when the only means of communication were BB's (Bulletin Boards) and
then a site called "Prodigy" came along providing more opportunities for folks to communicate. My point is that even back then,it didn't take long for bigotry, racism, and cruel/hateful remarks to appear. You see,my friends, only the technology has changed, not human nature, which remains the one constant in the universe for better or worse. And so it goes.Take care!

@luv2fly352 True, I also remember the "early days", (I started with CompuServe!)... The internet was supposed to become this utopia of "average people" having a "voice" and being able to "make a difference". Information would flow freely, without government barriers or class barriers. Everyone would be so enlightened. Some even suggested that "governments would no longer be needed", because the world would be populated with all these enlightened, educated, well-informed people, all over the world.

Oh joy.

Soon after the first trolls appeared, and the rest is history...
