What's the nicest place in Yorkshire to visit?

I've just one day left here and want to make the most of it in this lovely place.

@CathyUK have not been to Whitby or the east coast resorts for many years( on "to do" list, go to York , Harrogate and if going west Otley Ilkley, skipton

the bus ride from Leeds to whitby won best senic route, takes ages. fish and chips at the Magpie, nice but pricey
