I Love To Travel Anywhere, Any Time

When I first came to England from my home in county Clare, Ireland I hitched my way mostly. I hitched to Shannon international, just over thirty miles from home. Then, from Stansted in Essex, I had to hitch to Canterbury, maybe a little over a hundred miles.

I had secured a place at college in Canterbury through a teacher at school, who is English, and my only way there was to hitch, I only had the flight money myself. I locked up the house, and I haven't been back since, which is four years!

I wish I had the money to fly to and fro, but it's difficult just now. The guys I live with are thinking of going back to Serbia for a visit in the summer, I might be able to go with them, which will be nice, but a long trip if they drive it in their van.
