I did that living for a couple years. It was fun but after awhile it became burdensome. Lack of space and a lot of extra work. On the positive side it's great for skill building and learning how to make do and reuse and appreciate life in different ways. I am glad I did it but glad to be living back in a house again.

@ravenwind43 That lack of space thing is something every RV'er complains about. The work part...one thing I love about tent camping is that you are busy all day... getting water, cooking and cleaning up, organizing your campsite, cleaning yourself up...so productive. Yeah...gaining some new skills would be great. Thanks for the feedback!

@Fernie It's something I definitely am glad I did and it does teach how to take something you have and use it in multiple ways. The canopy that provided shade also made a way to hang up stuff to dry. A empty green bean can can hold matches...etc. 👍

@ravenwind43 Those are the things I'm good at...resourcefulness...like McGyver...I think I'd enjoy it...for how long I don't know. Maybe a couple years like you

Always wanted to do this, but never felt in the right position to do it.
