What is the WORST PART of living off grid?

As long as you are handy, hard-working, and plan ahead for contingencies, there really is no worst part.

why would you want to live off grid?

When you signed up for any site even this one, you agree to never be able to be off grid in your life.
So its not possible.

Should have asked this question before you was introduce to the internet

providing that you have solar panels for electricity and using only hard cash for expenses ......plus you can always grow your own food...i think the only thing you would be missing is internet. oh yeah you also wouldn't have flowing water.....so that could be something that is a major hurdle.

Lack of toiletries

What type of off grid living do you do? My parents have been talking about buying some land in either Georgia or North Carolina and setting up an off grid tiny home for vacations.

You have to constantly be prepared for anything and have back up plans for your back up plans

Still need money & other people for shopping/fixing things etc.

It can get lonely if your way off the grid but otherwise the independence is wonderful.

I will eventually live off grid. I will let you know
