Hi, i got 2. had an umbilical hernia sorted then a year later i had appendicitis, with a difference. appendix was on wrong side and my bowel was twisted so they had to do an intrusive laparoscopy. so had a 9 day stay in hospital and got a 6 inch scar in my belly running down past my hernia scar

Very true. Once knew a lady who had been in an ugly car accident and some metal had sliced open her face and severed the nerve in her cheek. You can imagine the looks SHE used to get.

I have a scar on my wrist too. People thought it's from suicidal attempt. But actually it's a burnt wound when I accidentally touched a heated iron box. It's fading though.

Yeah, same here. Many scars on my hand and arm from medical procedure. Some are permanent. The blue mark from the needle I had last week is slowly going away. It will completely gone by next week.

dicavill - Honestly I think people worry more about scars than we probably should. I've never been one to worry about my own, or others, it's just the placement of these scars that get tricky.
