how can some people just easily move on from a death of their parent

i see this online sometimes when i see people talking about bereivements of their dad or their mother, that they buried them and eventually moved on.

well that couldn't happen with me, i am so close to my elderly mother & father, but especially my mum...that when she does eventually leave me in this world, i don't think i could cope....i would find it too devastating and have nothing to live for anymore....i know i would definitely kill myself when that happens...the bond i have with my mum is such a close one, that it would tear me apart her not being here anymore.

my mum lives far from me now, i live in a little apartment by myself, we speak on the phone 3 times a day......my mum and dad are the only support mechanism i have.

i just don't understand how some people can move on from the death of a parent? what makes up their psychology? what makes them think that? how can they so easily let go?
