This is where faith comes into play for a lot of people. I don't think anyone is ok with the death of a parent, but it's a part of life that is going to happen to all of us.

@Nebula yes its important to realize that, its going to happen to us all, but if you have faith you know death isn't the end but merely switching off the light in one room and going into another room, its just painful for those we have to leave behind...as i mentioned i'm very close to my parents so i know it will hit hard when they eventually leave, but its where i'll have to lean on my faith and know they are not far away and i'll see them again one day.
