Did You Hear About This Tragedy In Oklahoma This Past Week?

It wasn’t the worst auto accident. There was one in my county over 25 years ago. A head-on collision of two cars, each car had 6 high school students in it and the drivers had been drinking. They were driving on a rural road and crashed head-on. A young woman I worked with was a teenager when her father drove past the accident. I think he offered help but the teens were dead, bodies laying everywhere. He went home and got his teenage daughters and brought them to the scene and made them look and told them this is what happens when you drink & drive. They both drank some but they’d rent a motel room and stay for the night rather than drive home buzzed.
