Also for the record I'm glad they took down and busted Child porn vendors I'm sympathetic to Sexual abuse

Especially of children but the promise of technology has always been double-edged, it didn't start being that way with me and it won't end even after I'm dead and gone, if the idea of untraceable internet currency is unacceptable because of it enabling "The bad guys" Well then laptops and desktops and the internet itself is also unacceptable because it too enables "The bad guys."

A lot of innocent bystanders would get caught up in things if you were to criminalize it, just because you're seeking privacy doesn't mean you're seeking to shield your identity for something illicit even.

I recoil in the same horror the investigators in this story did at those kinds of images. Some of us are just paranoid and don't want people looking into our purchases.

also I used quotes for "The bad guys" because the point was that not every bad person was necessarily a pedophile and just as a generic term for people who use the technology for crimes that there's a broad consensus about the immmorality of.

So not you know, non violent drug offenders or pirates but you know, thieves fraudsters, sex criminals, etc.
