What are the chances of the following scenario NOT being a scam?...

You get contacted on WhatsApp by a company, allegedly based in India, that promises easy money working from home. Sure enough, it is easy because it just involves very shallow date processing. Your account says you have earned over $60, then over $100, in one evening. When you ask the recruiter about the payment method, they say it will be in cryptocurrencies. Next time you look at the payment page, there is a minus amount, yet you never received any money or crypto. The recruiter assures you that all is well, that she just needs to add money to her account. Then when you get into your crypto wallet, you are told that you have to top up your crypto wallet by buying crypto with real dollars, before you can get at the actual crypto and convert it into more dollar-friendly crypto. Meanwhile your girlfriend is telling you it's a scam.

@nonsensiclesnail I think so too, but he's claiming it can't be a scam because he's got the crypto now and he just has to buy more crypto (with real money) in order to convert it to another crypto which he can supposedly convert into dollars.
@purplepen this is where a face palm emoji would be handy. That is the scam. The using real money to buy more crypto. This is not a job, its a con.
