Animal control can't do anything. I'm sure they hear about dead animals all the time.

My heart sunk with your first line, "There was a dead kitty by the entrance to the parking lot." 😭 I know it's a reality in this world, but it breaks my heart every time I hear about things like this.

@Ashly I know what you mean. I feel the same way. I think probably someone with a soft heart took care of the kitty. That's what I'm imagining, anyway.
I wouldn't worry too much. When cats evolved some other species went extinct. Cats can't tast sweet stuff. They're so oriented to meat that they can tast Adenosine tri phosphate. ATP is what makes animals move it's what meat runs on. I imagine kitty loves the taste of it. When you feel bad about the dead kitty just think of all the happy little birds that lived.
