Interesting, since the Constitution never mentions God (except at the end, when the date of the signing is given as "The year of our Lord....") The oaths of office do not say "so help me God." In fact, the oaths give the option of avoiding the religious word "swear" and replacing it by the secular word "affirm."
I am a believer in God. But I object to the US Constitution being treated as if it almost had the stature of Scripture. I also object to the implication that one particular nation at one particular stage in the history of this planet is "the" one that goes with the Bible.
