I attended a two or three-day 'Introduction to Access' course, from work.
If there is a competition for making software as opaque and non-intuitive as possible, MS would win with 'Access'. I think MS has since abandoned it.
A big part of that was its terms being seemingly named by shaking loose words from a dictionary, throwing them randomly at the compiler and seeing to what hexadecimal addresses they stuck.
As events transpired, my need to learn it evaporated not long after, though I still tried it, finding a potential use in my hobbies. However what I wanted to do was impossible for anyone of my level.
