i wonder if comcast, t-mobile, and other telecom\entertainment empires realize how far behind they are trailing spacex

the telecom industry WILL go thru a revolution. just like horseless carriage made horseshoes and buggy whips obsolete. they have left nasa behind eating their dust.

So far as performance, it actually is no competition for the big three. So they have nothing to worry about. It's not even cheap anymore. It's only real benefit is it makes it available for people who don't have easy access or any access to high speed wideband.
Other than the ability of rapid launch vehicles, this doesn't affect NASA. NASA doesn't have anything to do with the internet. So that subject is moot

@1490wayb Vision? Other than providing internet service to rural communities around the world who can't reach it, what do I really see? A clusterfuck of small satellites filling the earth's orbit. He made it available. He didn't necessarily make it affordable. You may think you're talking down to me, but all you're really doing is yelling across the room trying to be heard.
