Soon phones wont have headphone jacks anymore it will just be a thing of the past.

Only budget phones still have audio jacks. The rest already switched to USB-C

fortunately they make a usb-c to 3.5mm Jack so you can still use headphones/earbuds

I hadn't used wired since around 2013? I believe but yet another set of buds died on me, so I tried these free wired ones that came with a hat haha .. and yes, much difference. I don't have to worry about running out of power, however, I can't move around though!

My last phone had a built-in radio that needs the wired headphone for an antenna. The definitely save on battery usage. Phones are getting rid of that jack left and right.
