Anybody else find the rate of change in technology frustrating?

I get to know something, and then it inexplicably changes, and that something doesn’t work anymore 😡

and AI says

AI Overview
Yes, many people find the rapid pace of technological change frustrating, overwhelming, and mentally exhausting, often feeling as though they cannot keep up with constant updates, new software, and shifting, complex interfaces.

Frustrating? It's amazing! I know generative AI is extremely annoying these days, eating up ram and causing fraud and suspecion in the online art community, but the exciting thing is that if we keep developing technology at this rate, we can't even fathom what's possible in just 100 years. It's very curious! (=

It does not inexplicably change, it changes due to rapid evolution, rendering las month's technology obsolete. The real problem, is that there is no possible way for the technology companies to recoup the $Ts they're spending on data centers, commissioning new yachts and buying up Hawaii real estate.

Yes, I am endlessly frustrated with the updates on Google Maps on Android.

They move and change stuff all the time.

I find this out when I am driving, and trying to use Google maps to get where I want to go. 🤨😡
No, I don't even notice any changes. Everything seems to be staying still in comparison to just a few years ago.

Yup. It's the perfect planned obsolescence.
