I would rather see them helped so they dont hurt anyone else, friends, exlovers, the cranky neighbors kid? Family pooch? Better release programs just cant help? Do you know about other programs in other places countries etc
@Ohplease47 oh they refuse to be helped. I talked to a retired prison psychologist. He told me that all he could do is teach them to avoid places and situations where they would be tempted to reoffend. I’ve watched a registered sex offender in the Walmart where I was working as a greeter standing behind a stack of merchandise in a display next to the self-checkout grinning and leering at two young children while their mother was using the self-check and scanning her groceries. That mother didn’t have a clue about why he was standing there but I did. He was a frequent shopper a Walmart.
@cherokeepatti i had a special attunement device for a while in walmart where a hurting mom had some hurting toddler and it got me focusing and praying that mom would feel the support so junior would feel better. Later it was a store policy for workers to report such problems to authorities, how effective that worked whoknows, maybe it was just there and not corporate wide. Now in those stores u can see the stress/heroic level of everyone. Not just about a third of all customers. I wish they had skating rink breaks in there, everyone puts on party shoes with 360 degree wheels and parties
