Definitely depends on the room size. My tv is a 42" and anything bigger than that would be way too much for me.

@Tumbleweed we have a 40" in my mom's room behind her large dresser

Yes, We only have a 32 inch and it has a picture tube

30 years it would have been considered big, now it's average.
