Phone/tech question.......

....everytime i plug my phone into the aux channel on my car to play from spotify i keep getting the google gemini pop up

When i switch it off in settings i get the pop up asking if i want to switch it on and it doesn't let me play from spotify.

I have a samsung and it happens with my son's Samsung too. I don't get this problem when i connect to my headphones.

It's really pissing me off and i have a long car journey this weekend...does anyone know what to do?

@BabyLonia if you disable Google from apps, it will take care of it.

@Royricky09 fail...did that too still didn't work
@BabyLonia Google settings, Google assistant, scroll down to Digital assistants from Google, and there you have two options, Gemini or Google assistant.

@Royricky09 all of this is what it says when you google the issue...i tried all of this
@BabyLonia found this......

To actually remove this and it works on gemini as well, you go to settings>display>navigation bar>assistant app. Toggle that option off, which disables the swipe from the bottom left corner of the screen going up at a 45-degree angle. It took me a bit to figure out how it was coming up, but it is happening while typing when reaching over with my left thumb. Tested on S23 Ultra
