@DeWayfarer Jamnagar is in India. Has Trump imposed his import taxes on Indian goods, too?

They are not intended to stop the imports but to tax them, so exclusion would be self-defeating. However, that could be the effect if Americans can buy equivalent goods more cheaply.

E.g., if made in the USA - but that may not make them cheaper anyway, because electrical earthing and lighting-protectors use significant amounts of copper. I think the USA has to import that, and China owns most of the world's copper-ore reserves.
