How dead is the market in tech? Is it really that over saturated to the point where entry level people may as well give up trying to get that first job?

It is very hard for entry level right now (although I'm sure it also depends on where you're physically at). I did searching during 2022-2023 and I was lucky and got my current job through a previous work connection.
