Oh man, I was fortunate to find "free" textbooks on the FAA government site.

12 weeks of training I doubt will get me certified in the aviation mechanic role. I'm speculating it's for maintenance for aircraft and minor repairs because of the gargantuan amount of content in these books that may not be covered. It's a start though. I'm gauging that I have two months at least before I start in the program, so I can definitely study now with those FAA textbooks along with learning new physics and math along the way. It's crunch time!! 😁👍 I just need to come up with a game plan on how I'm going to breakdown my studies. That way I'm not overwhelmed and am learning things effectively. I just want to give it my best effort because I'm so fortunate to have this opportunity to serve the public and the military this way (yes, the company works on F110 engines that go in those F-16 fighter jets as an example). I never thought in my wildest dreams this would be a path I'd go down. Blessed.

Good luck. Breaking down things in schedule can be easy if written down "Where am I now what I wish to learn by end of March 2024?" Then break it down.

As a machine operator we do make items for Military aircraft. Mainly it's Carbon materials t be inserted in airblades, replacing the old metal.
