I have to pay for 3 lost cable boxes!

I rent out my 2 spare bedroom and years ago I signed up with cable from my internet service provider in a bundle deal. I have older model tvs and as far as I know, no one ever even used the cable, so I decided to cut it off. Well naturally they wanted the boxes back and I can't find any of them!! Obviously the renters over the years threw them out maybe. Either way, the company couldn't even tell me how much they were- one person said $75 each, and one said " probably $200 each ". They aren't sure if they will be able to give me a payment plan either to pay off the boxes.

Ring up from another number pretending to be an interested customer and ask if boxes are still on use and how much additional boxes cost etc

Man thats alot of money. They sound unorganized.They have to put.ypu on a payment plan. Those boxes are so out of date now.just a bunch of scammers.Jusr tell them that you can only pay 20 bucks a month. They will have no choice if they want the money back.They are rich enough.

@Eddiesolds that's the way I see it too. I've never missed a payment so they ought to let me pay installments
